Dynamic Glass Expands to Austin
Dynamic Glass is pleased to announce that it has acquired the assets of Austin-based Berry Glass. In connection with the transaction, Dynamic Glass has hired Bob Berry and his team to run a new Austin division for Dynamic Glass out of Berry’s existing location in Buda, TX. Bob Berry is a 40+ year industry veteran with significant large-scale glazing experience across the state of Texas. Bob and his team are highly capable and combined with the resources of Dynamic Glass, will be able to execute at a high level in Austin.
Bob Berry and Rick Cieslewicz, President of Dynamic Glass, go back over 40 years together in the glass business, including working together at Regal Glass in Houston. Both Rick and Bob left Regal Glass and eventually went on to start their own companies, Dynamic Glass in Houston and Berry Glass in Austin. Rick and Bob remained friends over the years and recently decided that combining forces in Austin would create a great opportunity for both parties in the Austin market.
Bob Berry said, “This is a perfect opportunity for me and my team to combine with a great organization in Dynamic Glass to build something special in Austin. I’m excited to get started and see what we can accomplish together.”
Dynamic Glass plans to take a conservative approach in Austin by targeting a few initial projects and building from there. Having developed a strong reputation in Houston and Dallas by delivering consistent, high-quality results for customers, the plan for Austin is the same. Dynamic Glass’ priority is to build trust in the Austin market through quality and execution from the start. Dynamic Glass believes this strategy is key for long-term success in Austin and will turn the Company into a major player in the market. Dynamic Glass will utilize project management and field capabilities in Austin with drafting and fabrication handled by its 108,000 sq. ft. facility in Houston or 55,000 sq. ft. facility in Dallas on larger projects.
“Austin has always been a part of our longer-term plans and when the Berry Glass opportunity came up, it just made too much sense to pass up. Bob Berry and I go back over 40 years and I have full faith and trust in Bob to lead our operation in Austin,” said Rick Cieslewicz, President of Dynamic Glass.
